Public Bath (Men)
-
Public Bath (Women)
Our baths allow guests a rejuvenating soak after a long day of adventure. The groundwater we pull up can be traced back to Mt. Hakusan, one of Three Holy Mountains alongside Mt. Fuji. Water that has flowed through the earth for over a century before reaching these grounds. Through the glass, you can also soak in views of the "Mountain Garden", contemplating the beauty of Kanazawa's garden culture.
Four Gardens
Enjoy the seasonal beauty of Kanazawa
The name “Sainoniwa” translates as “Garden of Colors”.
In this city known for one of
Japan’s Three Most Beautiful Gardens,
we convey the aesthetic
and seasons of Kanazawa through four gardens
that can be enjoyed from the corridors, baths and restaurant.
The "Forest Garden" greets you at the entrance,
enveloping you in greenery upon arrival.
Upon crossing the canal, flowing all the way
from Ono Port via the Nagamachi Samurai District,
the "River Garden" comes into sight,
signalling the change
in flow to a Kanazawa-esque space and time.
At the core of our hotel is the "Central Garden".
modelled after the inner gardens
of Kanzawa's machiya townhouses.
And in view from the public baths
and lobby is the "Mountain Garden",
allowing you to soak in the atmosphere
of the Kanazawa countryside.

Corridor of Crafts
Enjoy the works of local artisans
right outside your room
The corridors of each guest floor double as craft galleries displaying the works of artisans in Ishikawa.
A piece is displayed by the entrance of every room,
allowing you immersion
in the rich crafts heritage of this UNESCO City
of Crafts and Folk Art, right outside your door.
Available for purchase, it is also part of our efforts
in supporting local community and culture.
